Between the Flags has undertaken a new initiative to help selected charity and community-based organizations raise funds by providing supporters and members with an on-line discount and donating a portion of its on-line sales’ profits.

The Black Dog Institute

The Black Dog Institute is an educational, research, clinical and community-oriented facility offering specialist expertise in mood disorders – a range of disorders that include depression and bipolar disorder (formerly called ‘manic depression’). The Institute is attached to the Prince of Wales Hospital and affiliated with the University of New South Wales.

The Institute’s mission is to advance the understanding, diagnosis and management of the mood disorders by continuously raising clinical, research, education and training standards. In so doing, the Institute aims to improve the lives of those affected and in turn, the lives of their families and friends…

The entire collection uses fabrics that have been silicon washed for extra softness and comfort in a comprehensive range of quality tees, polos, hoodies, jackets and beach bags. As the name suggests, the colour palette and styling are “classic” using embroidery and appliqué for both SLSA and Lifesaver brands making this range truly unique.

A children’s SLSA Classic Range is planned for release later this year.
